AFS brought together panelists and industry professionals at Fordham University to discuss trends, financing conditions, and opportunities shaping the NYC real estate market in 2026.
On February 26, 2026, the Asian Financial Society (AFS) hosted the panel event “NYC Real Estate Market Outlook 2026: Trends, Insights & Opportunities,” drawing a strong turnout of nearly 200 registered attendees from the finance, real estate, and legal communities.
The event was held at McNally Amphitheater, Fordham University at Lincoln Center and brought together industry professionals to discuss key developments shaping the NYC real estate market.
The evening opened with remarks from Frank Mah, Chairman of AFS, followed by an expert panel discussion moderated by Margaret Ling, NYS Agency Underwriting Counsel at Amtrust Title Insurance Company. The panel featured industry leaders including Douglas Romero (Ponce Bank), Andy Zhong (EastAlliance), Lily Guo (iCross Capital), Shibber Khan (Criterion Group), Lisa Lim (Rosenberg & Estis), and Barbie Li (B Square Realty).
Panelists shared perspectives on market trends, financing conditions, development opportunities, and regulatory considerations affecting the NYC real estate landscape. The discussion was followed by an engaging audience Q&A session.
The event concluded with closing remarks from AFS Board Member Jack Xu and continued networking among attendees.
