2011 Career Enrichment Program Successfully Concluded

August 25 – The closing ceremony of the AFS Career Enrichment Program hosted lectures from a veritable constellation of stars from the Asian financial community. AFS Vice Chair Blake Zhang hosted the certificate ceremony. Former AFS founding leaders Thomas Ho, Henry Tang and Fred Teng handed certificates of completion to the latest batch of students and awarded certificates to lecturers and sponsors in appreciation for their contributions.

Lehigh University student Hanci Song – the student representative, Dana Qu from Goldman Sachs – the lecturer representative, and Dennis Bai from Sigma Trek Inc. – the sponsor representatives, all spoke during the ceremony.

The event was especially memorable because three senior founding leaders shared their career stories and described how they benefited from and contributed to the spirit of AFS.

The ceremony concluded with a congratulatory speech from AFS Chair, Tracy Wan. After the close of the formal ceremony, participants continued to converse, exchange ideas and receive advice from senior members.

This was a day when the past and the future shared a celebratory moment, when industry veterans and the new generation of financial professionals embraced, when dreams were inspired and new friendships were formed – this was the closing bell of the 2011 AFS Career Enrichment Program.
